Belinda Hagen, MCRP, B.S. founded Independent Business Consulting , LLC in 2018 and has transitioned to a full-time focus with her clients in Fall 2023. We expected a full launch by spring of '24 but are hitting benchmarks faster than anticipated. We are accepting new clients now on a limited basis as we work to onboard additional staff. See position descriptions below.
Belinda opened her first small business at the age of 19 displaying her baby daughter in the window of her storefront. With her entrepreneurial mindset, she has invested in real-estate and worked in consulting, manufacturing industries, and governmental roles involving planning, standard operating procedures, permitting, sales, environmental, health, safety and DOT regulations, budgeting, training and community outreach.
Belinda is an educator, teaching for her 5th year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in the College of Architecture, Community and Regional Planning Program. She is passionate about education, supporting her clients, students and IBC colleagues in their academic, personal, and professional goals.
